Cathy Wang is a Registered Dietitian.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Dietetics from the University of British Columbia. Her experiences include nutrition counselling to support healthy eating for patients with type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and overweight/ obesity. In addition to providing nutritional therapies for chronic illnesses, Cathy also teaches mindful eating techniques. She first learned mindfulness and mindful eating to help overcome her own disordered eating patterns. Motivated by the desire to help others who are struggling with binge eating and/or emotional overeating, Cathy became a certified Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT) instructor. As an amateur cook, she also loves to create tasty and (mostly) healthy recipes. She offers nutrition counselling via teleconference (Skype and Zoom).
