About me

Cathy Wang

Hi there!

Ever since I was a little kid, I was drawn to the magic of the kitchen. As I grew up, this love affair deepened and I followed my heart to study nutrition at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. To this day, I love exploring foods from different regions of the world and learning about the traditions behind each dish. I believe that good food feeds more than the body; it brings people together and nourishes the soul.

Beyond my passion for all things food-related, I'm also very interested in mindfulness meditation and yoga. These are two practices that helped me through my personal struggles with binge eating, food restriction, and poor body image. I completed the Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training for Professionals and incorporate mindfulness into my work with clients.

I am a Registered Dietitian in Mississauga, Ontario.
